Laser Hair Removal

Not all laser hair removal techniques are made equal. IPL and different laser manufacturers deliver subpar results that require 8 or more treatments to see hair removal that oftentimes is temporary. Dallin's background and passion for value and result-driven treatments ensure the best quality when it comes to this service. The NdYAG laser from Cutera is a gold standard when it comes to permanent reduction of hair removal with fewer initial sessions.

How it works

Hair removal solutions from Cutera give practices the versatility to treat a wide variety of hair types on individuals of all skin types. Cutera was the first to develop a high-powered Nd:YAG laser for hair removal, and our second evolution in laser hair removal technology comes with the introduction of the excel HR, our premium laser hair removal platform which offers two wavelengths for the most advanced hair removal available. During the treatment, the NdYag laser emits a concentrated laser beam of light that targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles. The melanin absorbs the laser energy, which then converts to heat. This heat damages the hair follicles, inhibiting their ability to regrow hair in the future. When it comes to laser hair removal Optimal Body has the same principles. Quality and value. NdYag is the strongest most efficient laser technology available for the permanent reduction of hair anywhere on the body.

Laser hair removal is performed every 8 weeks and targets the hair follicles in the last stage of hair growth. At any given time, about 30% of the hairs are in the appropriate growing stage for the laser to effectively damage the follicle and reduce the amount of hair that will grow back. Each session of Laser Hair Removal is increased in intensity of the laser used resulting in less and less hair in the coarse, thick stage of hair growth. A series of six sessions is recommended for the most significant overall reduction. As our bodies and hair follicles are living organisms, ongoing maintenance once or twice a year may be necessary as sparse regrowth happens with hormonal or natural aging.
